AutoCorrect is a very good feature available in Excel, which can speed up data entry works. The main advantage of AutoCorrect is that it can fix spelling mistakes while data entry is done. AutoCorrect feature has an in-built database of commonly misspelled spellings and can detect a spelling mistake while data entry is done.

AutoCorrect feature in Excel is a very useful feature. AutoCorrect can help us as listed below.

  • AutoCorrect feature in Excel can correct capitalization. For example, if you type wednesday in Excel, it will get automatically corrected as Wednesday.
  • AutoCorrect feature in Excel can correct commonly misspelled words. For example, if you type recieved, it will get automatically corrected as received.
  • AutoCorrect feature in Excel can enter special symbols. For example, if you enter (c), it will get automatically changed as © (copyright symbol).
