How to hide a folder
Usually we store some important files, or some critical scripts in some persnnal folders. If a non-technical person accidently run those scripts, that may cause damage to your Windows Server, or your network. You may hide important folders to avoid damages to your Windows Server or your network. Follow below steps to hide a folder in Windows Server 2022.
Step 1 - Right-click the folder you want to hide. Select Properties from the context menu.
Folder properties dialog box will be displayed as in below image. Please note that the Hidden attribute checkbox is unchecked now.
Step 2 - Check the Hidden attribute checkbox. Click Apply button and the OK button to make the folder hidden. Please refer below image.
