How to add network icon to desktop in windows 2022

Sometimes you may need to add network icon to desktop. After installation you can see only "Recycle Bin" icon in Windows desktop. It is easy to configure IP address and network related tasks, if you have network icon in desktop. If you need to add network icon to desktop, follow below steps.

Step 1 - Right-click Windows Taskbar and select "Taskbar settings" from the context menu, as shown below.

Step 2 - Click "Themes" in Taskbar settings.

Step 3 - Click "Desktop icon settings", as shown below.

Step 4 - Make sure that "Network" checkbox is checked, then click "Apply" and "OK" buttons to make the changes apply.

Step 5 - As you can see from below image, Network icon is visible in Desktop now.
