How to hide or unhide search box

How to hide Windows search box from taskbar

By default, Windows search box is visible in taskbar. Windows search box’s default location is near to start menu button. Sometimes, you may need to hide search box to make some more room inside Windows taskbar. To hide Windows search box, right-click inside Windows taskbar, move cursor to Search and select Hidden from menu. Please refer below image.

How to unhide Windows search box from taskbar

To unhide Windows search box, right-click inside Windows taskbar, move cursor to Search and select Show search box from menu. Please refer below image.

How to show Windows search box as icon

To show Windows search box as a small icon in taskbar, right-click inside Windows taskbar, move cursor to Search and select Show search icon from menu. This option will minimize search box only as a small icon, occupying very less space in taskbar. Please refer below image.
