How to open Excel Insert Function dialog box
There are so many in-built functions in Excel, so that sometimes it may confuse the user to select the function by just typing-in the function name is Excel. Excel insert function dialog box is can be used to find the exact equation you need and the correct arguments required for that function.
Excel insert function dialog box can be opened from the Formulas tab in Excel Ribbon. Alternatively, you may use the shortcut key combination Shift + F3 also to open Excel insert function dialog box.
Refer following image to where to locate the button to open Excel insert function dialog box.
By-default most recently used functions are shown in the functions list. You may select a function category also, to select the function. Following image shows Excel insert function dialog box.
